Gifts & Hampers Delivered to Queensland Children’s Hospital

Please note: no flowers at Queensland Children’s Hospital
Queensland Children’s Hospital does not allow fresh flowers, dried flowers or live plants anywhere in the hospital. They can carry allergens, dirt and insects, and many young patients are especially vulnerable.
That’s why we don’t send flowers or plants there. Instead, we put together gifts that are hospital-approved, fun to receive and easy for a busy ward.

Tell us the gift is going to Queensland Children’s Hospital and we’ll make sure everything in it meets the hospital’s rules.
Hospital rules we follow for you
- No flowers or plants. This applies across the whole hospital, not just certain wards.
- No latex balloons. Some patients have latex allergies, so latex balloons are turned away. Foil balloons are welcome.
- Nut-free wards. All inpatient wards are nut-free, including peanut butter and anything containing nuts. Our hampers for Queensland Children’s Hospital are packed nut-free.
Delivery details
Queensland Children’s Hospital is at 501 Stanley Street, South Brisbane QLD 4101.
When you order, please include:
- The patient’s full name
- Their ward or room number, if you know it
- A parent or guardian’s name
- A contact phone number, if you have one
Order by 2pm Monday to Friday, or 11.30am Saturday, for same-day delivery. We always call ahead to check the patient is still in hospital. If they’ve already gone home, we’ll arrange for the gift to be delivered to their home instead. An additional delivery fee may apply.
