Delivery FAQ's

We’ve gathered the most common questions our customers ask — from ordering to care tips to our new Australia-wide delivery service. If you don’t see your answer here, our team is always just a call or email away. Ordering

How do I place an order?
You can order directly through our website. Simply choose your flowers or gifts, add them to your cart, and follow the checkout process.  If you have any specific requests that are not part of one of our products, please don't hesitate to give us a call to discuss.

Do I need an account to order?
No — you can check out as a guest. But creating an account makes it easier to track your orders, earn Petal Points, and save details for next time.

Can I add extras to my flowers?
Yes! We offer chocolates, champagne, candles, and gift hampers. Just select the add-ons shown with your bouquet.  If there is something else that you would like to include with the delivery, you're most welcome to drop the package in to our shop and the courier will deliver this with the flowers.  Please note that whilst all care is taken, we cannot be held liable if the recipient is not at home to take delivery.

Can I include a personal message?
Absolutely — every order comes with a complimentary gift card that matches the occasion. Just type your message at checkout and we'll choose the card that best matches your flowers and occasion.


Delivery (Local & Same-Day)

Do you offer same-day delivery?
Yes — for metro Brisbane orders placed before 2pm Mon–Fri or 10am Sat, we offer same-day delivery.

Do you offer express delivery?

Yes - we offer a 2 hour express delivery service.  Simply choose this product and we'll take care of the rest.

Can you deliver at a specific time?
We do our best to meet AM/PM preferences, but exact times can’t be guaranteed (except for funeral services).

What if the recipient isn’t home?
Our couriers will leave the flowers in a safe, shaded spot, take a photo and send it to them to let them know of them.  If our courier feels it unsafe to leave, we will  leave a card with details of our store address and phone number.

Do you deliver on Sundays or public holidays?
Regular deliveries are Mon–Sat. We do deliver on key Sundays (e.g., Mother’s Day) and some public holidays.


🌏 Australia-Wide Delivery

Do you deliver Australia-wide?
Yes! With our expanded service, we can deliver to every state and territory across Australia.

How long does Australia-wide delivery take?

  • Metro areas: Same-day available when ordered before 12pm local time.

  • Regional/rural: Usually 1–3 business days, with estimated timeframes shown at checkout.

Are there extra charges for Australia-wide delivery?
Delivery starts at $25.00. Remote and regional areas may attract a surcharge.

Will my flowers look the same everywhere?
Whilst the general design and colour theme will be similar, no two arrangements of flowers will ever be exactly the same. That’s the art of floristry — and the essence of nature. Every bloom is unique, shaped by its own season and climate, which makes each bouquet a one-of-a-kind creation.

Can I track my Australia-wide order?
You won’t be able to follow your flowers in real time, but you’ll receive a notification once they’ve been delivered — most likely after hearing from your very excited recipient first!


Substitutions & Quality

What if the flowers I ordered aren’t available?
Our florists may substitute blooms of equal or higher value, always matching the style and colours you’ve chosen. 

Why do some flowers arrive in bud?
We send certain flowers in bud form so they last longer and bloom beautifully at home.

Will containers and gifts always match the photo?
If a vase or gift item is unavailable, we’ll replace it with one of equal or greater value but will always check with you first.


Payments

What payment methods do you accept?
We accept Visa, Mastercard, AmEx, and PayPal. We also offer Afterpay and Zip Pay.

Are payments secure?
Yes — our checkout uses SSL encryption. Your details are safe with us.

Do your prices include GST?
Yes, all prices are in AUD and include GST.


Care Tips

How do I make my flowers last longer?
Use a clean vase, trim stems on an angle, change water every day and recut stems every 2-3 days, and keep flowers away from direct sun or heat.

Should I remove leaves below the waterline?
Yes — this helps prevent bacteria and keeps water fresher for longer.

Do you include care instructions?
Yes — every bouquet comes with a care card.

How do I care for orchids or plants?
Most orchids prefer bright, indirect light and a light watering once a week. Plants come with their own care notes.

How do I look after dried flowers?
Keep them away from water, direct sunlight, and humidity. They’ll last for years with little care.


Changes & Support

Can I change or cancel my order?
Yes — changes or cancellations must be made at least 24 hours before delivery. For interstate or regional orders, please allow more time.

What if I’m not happy with my order?
We stand by our Perfect Petals guarantee. If your flowers don’t arrive as expected, let us know within 24 hours and we’ll arrange a redelivery or refund.
