Lush Garden Wedding Bouquets with Ribbons….LOTS OF RIBBONS.

Get ready to raid your local haberdashery…brides are asking for lots of long, flowing textural ribbon that compliment the lushness of their bouquet.

Metallic Paint

Glittery, shiny, metallics mixed amongst the delicate soft petals is just dreamy! We prefer the greenery and adorning berries to be painted and leave the blooms to their natural glory.

Flower Crowns

They’ve been around for a while and they’re going to continue to be around for a while longer. I’m not complaining, I enjoy rocking a Frida Khalo-esque crown from time to time. Always a cute choice for flower girls and younger members of the bridal party but a bride rocking a flower crown speaks to her creativity and bold flair for design!

Neon and Viva la Mexico!

Just like food trends, flower trends go via the ‘culture de jour’ sometimes too. Enter Mexico chic. Bright neon flowers, cacti, ribbons and rustic wood. In my trawling I came across this super fab stop animation video from Melbourne’s very own Gorgeous Events. It captures the fiesta vibe perfectly. Click the link to have a gander. Ole!

Flowerwalls

Hard to believe that ‘Kimye’ has set a flower trend. Flowerwalls are set to be the new ‘floral installation’ of choice for weddings and events this season.

Hanging Flower Installations

Whether you call them ‘chandeliers’ or ‘installations’ this wedding flowers trend seems to be hanging around (pun intended). Here’s some of my favorites:
